Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Anime Wallpaper Generator application (the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with your use of the App. The App lets you generate original AI anime wallpapers from text prompts that you write, browse and download wallpapers created by other users in a shared community feed, and participate in an in-app community chat.
We have designed the App to collect as little personal information as possible. The App has no account system, no login, and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that directly identifies you. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
The short version: We do not require an account and never ask for your name or email. Your identity within the App is an anonymous, randomly generated code stored on your device. The App is free and has no purchases. We use Google AdMob to show ads, Firebase/Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics, a community feed that stores the prompts you write and the wallpapers you generate alongside your anonymous device code, and a community chat that stores your messages and—if you opt in—a push notification token.
Anonymous Device Identity
The App does not create user accounts. Instead, the first time you launch the App, it generates a random, anonymous identifier known as a UUID (universally unique identifier) that represents your installation of the App on your device.
- This anonymous device identifier is stored locally on your device.
- It is not linked to your name, email address, Apple ID, phone number, or any other real-world identity.
- It is used to associate your community chat messages and, if applicable, your chat notification preference with your installation so the community features function correctly.
- If you delete and reinstall the App, a new anonymous identifier is typically generated, and the previous one is no longer associated with you.
Information We Do Not Collect
To be clear and specific, the App does not collect or require any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.
- Account credentials, usernames, or passwords (there is no account or login).
- Payment card numbers or financial account information (the App is free and offers no in-app purchases).
- Your precise geographic location (GPS).
- Contacts, calendar, microphone, or camera data.
- Access to your existing photos or the ability to read your photo library.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
1. Analytics (Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics (which is part of Google Analytics) to understand how the App is used in the aggregate so we can improve it. This collects anonymous usage and diagnostic data, which may include:
- App events and interactions (for example, screens viewed, wallpapers browsed or downloaded, and feature usage).
- Device model and hardware type.
- Operating system and version.
- General, non-precise information such as app version, language, and region.
This analytics data is used solely to measure performance, diagnose issues, and improve the App. It is not used to identify you personally and is not linked to your name or email because we do not collect those.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of the App displays advertisements served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may access and process device identifiers and advertising identifiers (such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA) and related technical information about your device and ad interactions.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS, the App presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking for your permission before any tracking that uses the advertising identifier across apps and websites. If you decline, personalized/tracking-based advertising features are not used, and you may still see non-personalized ads.
- Consent for the EEA, UK, and Switzerland (Google UMP): If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent mechanism to obtain your consent choices before ads that rely on personal data are shown, in accordance with applicable law.
- Rewarded ads: Generating a wallpaper is funded by a short rewarded advertisement that you choose to watch before the wallpaper is created. Ads also appear between screens and while browsing. There is no paid option to remove advertising.
Google's handling of data collected through AdMob is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Please see the Third-Party Services section below for links.
3. Community Chat
The App includes a community chat feature. Because there are no accounts, participation is tied only to your anonymous device identifier. When you use the chat, the following information is stored on our servers:
- Your anonymous per-device user ID (the random UUID described above).
- The messages you choose to send in the community chat.
- Only if you opt in to chat notifications: an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token, used solely to deliver push notifications for chat activity to your device.
We do not collect names, email addresses, or other real-world identifying information in connection with chat. Please remember that messages you post in the community chat are visible to other users of the App. Do not share personal or sensitive information about yourself or others in chat.
4. Photo Library (Saving Wallpapers)
When you choose to download a wallpaper, the App saves that image to your device's photo library. On iOS, this uses add-only access to your Photos—meaning the App can add the wallpapers you download but cannot read, view, or access your existing photos. The App writes an image only when you actively choose to save it.
5. Wallpapers You Create (Prompts and Generations)
When you ask the App to create a wallpaper, the text prompt you typed is sent to our servers, screened by an automated content filter, and—if it passes—forwarded to a third-party AI image provider that renders the image. The resulting wallpaper is stored on our servers and published to the in-app community feed, where other users can see, search, and download it.
- We store the prompt text, the generated image, and your anonymous per-device user ID as the creator, so the App can show you your own creations and so abusive content can be traced to an installation and blocked.
- Creations are public. Anything you generate appears in the community feed for other users of the App. Do not include personal or sensitive information in a prompt.
- Prompts are screened automatically before generation, and objectionable requests are rejected and are not sent to the image provider.
- You can delete a wallpaper you created, or report one created by someone else, at any time from inside the App.
How the App Is Funded
The App is completely free. There is no subscription, no paid upgrade, and no in-app purchase of any kind. The cost of generating wallpapers is covered by advertising: you watch a short rewarded ad before a wallpaper is created, and additional ads appear as you use the App. See the Third-Party Services section for information about how our advertising partner handles data.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services. Each of these companies processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review:
- Apple — provides the Apple Push Notification service used for optional chat notifications. See Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the anonymous chat data described above with third parties except as necessary to operate the App (for example, using cloud infrastructure to store messages) or as required by law.
Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Analytics data is retained by Google/Firebase according to the retention settings configured for the App and Google's standard retention practices.
- Community chat messages and their associated anonymous device identifier are retained so the community feature continues to function, unless you request deletion.
- Prompts and generated wallpapers are retained so the community feed continues to work, unless you delete a creation in the App or ask us to remove it.
- Push notification tokens (collected only if you opt in) are retained while notifications are enabled and are removed when you disable them, request deletion, or when the token becomes invalid.
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
Because the App has no login, we cannot look you up by name or email. If you would like us to delete the wallpapers and prompts you created, your community chat data, and/or your chat notification push token, please email us and, where possible, include your anonymous in-app user ID so we can locate the correct data.

You can also stop most data collection at any time by disabling chat notifications, declining ad tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt, deleting the wallpapers you have created, or deleting the App from your device.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a mature audience and is rated 17+ (age rating 18+). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us through the community chat, please contact us at eli@srvmds.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the limited information the App handles, including transmitting data over encrypted connections and limiting the information we collect in the first place. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the App and its community features at your own discretion.
International Users
The App and its supporting services may be operated from, and information may be processed in, countries other than the one in which you reside. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed as described in this Policy. Where required, the third-party services listed above (Apple and Google) provide their own legal mechanisms for international data transfers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and post the updated Policy at its published location. Material changes may also be communicated within the App. Your continued use of the App after an updated Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
